Founded in 1983, Popa Mountain Park covers 2963 sq miles. You can study dry zone ecosystem, natural hill forest and scenic beauty; geo-morphological features, extinct volcano and volcanic plug; observe native traditional culture and worships; study wild fauna such as leopard, barking deer, dusky leaf monkey and 175 species of residential bird, 30 species of butterfly; observe plantation of medicinal plants; visit to the Environmental Education Centre.
